How much more valuable is a person with a great attitude? Companies are always looking for the right people with the right attitude. These kinds of people are considered very valuable and permanent fixtures of any organization. Does your organization see you this way? A person with a bad attitude is very replaceable and organizations are just looking for a good opportunity to do just that.
How much more valuable would you be if your organization or people in general saw you as a person with a great attitude. An attitude is completely based on how we think. By definition attitude is defined by how we respond, react and perceive situations and circumstances. In other words, if your current attitude is not the right one, you need to be reprogrammed or run the risk of being never reaching your professional potential?
I have come to the realization that everything that happens to me will bring me value in the long run. Do you believe that everything that comes your way will benefit you in the long run? That belief system is the key to your attitude. If you are not convinced of this fact, your attitude will always be in question and so will their value. If you struggle with your attitude how would it change if you modified your belief system?
Everything that you experience in your lifetime whether good or bad will some how some way be good for you in the long run. So why not have a great attitude when these situations arise. I encourage you for the next 90 days condition your mind to always respond correctly to anything that comes your way, not matter what. Find the silver lining in everything and before you know it, your attitude will improve and so will your paycheck.
